On 31st October, after more than two years of development and production, “Morningstar” screened for the first time.

In a packed hall in the North of Scotland, an audience gathered together to watch our new film on the life and legacy of John Wycliffe – the so-called 'Morningstar of the Reformation'. In the seven weeks since then, the film has been on a premiere tour – up and down the UK. 

We have screened in 28 venues.

We have shown the film to over 1400 people.

We have distributed over 400 DVD Box sets.

...and the response has been overwhelmingly positive!

We have been nominated for the 2023 Crown Award for “Best Documentary”. This gala event will be held in May 2023, where the winner will be announced. 

In addition, we are looking forward to seeing “Morningstar” being broadcast around the world: TV stations in Australia, New Zealand, South Korea, the Czech Republic, the United Kingdom and the United States already have plans for broadcast, and conversations continue with platforms in many other countries also. 

If you haven't yet had the chance to watch the film yourself, do not fret. You can watch it online or order a DVD Box Set. (Please note that these DVDs are PAL format, the standard for UK, Europe and many other countries. The DVDs in NTSC format, the standard for North America and some other countries, will be produced some time in January.) 

After the fast-paced action of the last couple of months, we are looking forward to a bit more of a relaxed period over Christmas. In the New Year, all being well, we will be developing our website further; creating some educational resources around the film, and working with churches and community groups to host more screenings. In the meantime, we will be getting out the hot chocolate and the mince pies and taking life easy for the next couple of weeks.
