The Myth Maker

“The Myth Maker” is a feature film inspired by the life and writings of the famous Scottish preacher and storyteller George MacDonald. When his young daughter falls grievously ill, MacDonald wonders if the only thing that might just help her are his fairy stories – each one wilder than the next. Each night he sits down to tell her a new story – of princesses and goblins, of darkness and light, and of the golden key that unlocks the mystery of the universe. But his child is not the only one listening, and MacDonald's stories may just land him in deep trouble with the church.
