Profiling the Puritans

The Puritans were a group of English Christians from the 16th and 17th centuries. Through their writings they have had a huge legacy on reformed, evangelical and charismatic Christianity down to the present.
“Profiling the Puritans” combines a single featurette to put their stories into context with a number of shorter episodes telling the stories of individual Puritan authors, thinkers and preachers. This first batch of episodes covers John Owen, John Flavel, Thomas Brooks and Richard Sibbes. Contemporary Christian leaders will offer reflections on the writings of these men and the benefit they have been in their own spiritual lives.
